The first year is where the fun really starts!
Your baby wakes up, looks over and beams at you with the biggest grin. They laugh their little heads off at tickles and peekaboo. Not just little chuckles, but deep belly roars, that have you laughing right back with them whilst your heart turns to a pool of liquid love!
SITTER SESSION
Between 6 & 8 months babies are often sitting independently and this makes for beautiful portraits. It’s also a favourite of ours as they can giggle but can’t usually crawl away yet!
As your baby develops their personality, they find everything funny and think you are the bees knees. Let’s photograph that!
How It Works
1. Booking
Just select your chosen date and time with our online booking calendar below.
We understand that some babies are morning babies and some prefer afternoons, so we’re happy to accommodate that and work around your baby’s nap times.
2. Session
Held at our lovely photography studio, it’s a beautiful and calm place to visit whilst we create magical portraits of your baby.
Elli is used to working with babies of all ages. She’ll let them get used to the studio environment & spend some time with them before pulling out a camera.
3. Viewing
We will invite you back to the studio to enjoy a beautiful presentation of your stunning portraits on our large screen.
It’s a delightful and relaxed ordering session, what you fall in love with and choose to purchase is entirely up to you.

If you’ve already had a newborn session with me we can ensure your sitter portraits match in colours and styles so they will sit beautifully together too. I’ve photographed over 1000 Lincolnshire babies over the years so your little one will be in very safe hands.

Your Questions
What age should my child be?
All babies learn to sit in their own time, but as a guide it’s usually between 5 and 9 months. When your baby starts to sit with just a little support from you, that’s the time to get in touch to book your session. So when your session date arrives your baby is usually a solid little sitter and together we can bring out all their different expressions.
Can you photograph my children together?
Absolutely, portraits of our children together are often high on every parent’s wishlist and we are more than happy to do that.
We will photograph your children both together and separately. It’s wonderful to capture their special sibling bond and connection, and it’s equally important to create beautiful individual portraits too.
What should we bring?
We have lots of beautiful outfits at the studio for your baby to wear if you’d like, or you can bring your own clothes. Ideally outfits in one colour work best, and soft natural fabrics photograph beautifully.
So really all you need to bring is a drink and snack for your little ones, and lot of enthusiasm to help your baby feel playful and smiley!
What is my baby is ill?
If for any reason your baby isn’t well enough for the shoot then we can reschedule.
Health always comes first and we want you and your baby to be able to enjoy your session. Just let us know at your earliest opportunity and we can arrange a new date for you.
What if my baby is shy or has extra needs?
We’re used to working with babies and all their different characters and personalities. We think we’re pretty good at reading them and are very adaptable to their needs.
We also have experience of working with children extra needs, including global development delay, and babies on oxygen, feeding tubes etc.
All are welcome!
What does it cost?
There’s no charge for the session itself, just a £49 retainer which reserves your session and is then credited against anything you order.
Wall art starts at £195 and printed collections from £495, clients usually spend anything between £300 and £1200. What you fall in love with and choose to buy is entirely up to you.
